Daydreaming
Kids are playing everywhere,
laughter's all you hear.
Nothing's there that would cause pain,
no bad words are said.
Happiness is all around,
darkness isn't known.
All wars have stopped,
all guns have been dropped.
Peace is the way of life
everyone is looking for,
no one has to die.
Now open your eyes
and look carefully.
Where is the laughter, the kids, the peace?
Suffering people all over the place.
They promised to help, to end all war,
but their plans don't work.
Now we have to start.
Start to work for it ourselves.
Of course it will be hard,
but making this dream come true
is something only we can do.
